1. Hot tub had floaters in it, water seemed unclean. 2. Cabin had glitchy front sensor light, would go on and off during night. Bed was small and sleeping area got really hot. 3. Fire wood that was provided was damp. 4. Surrounding neighborhood is sketchy. 4. Property was not very dog friendly, dogs could get down to water area if wanted or unsupervised. Host was very insensitive to renters needs and hard to work with. Early on, I expressed a strong desire for an early check in (multiple times) and was turned down. Offered to pay more. At last minute was told "scheduled maintenance" was happening. Sewer issues. Hosts disposition added to negativity during trip and made it hard to plan our arrival. The inflexibility was a turn off. Overall, I expected much more for $500 a night.

My husband and I were looking for a quiet, romantic getaway and this place certainly delivered! Cozy, beautiful and rejuvenating. The sauna is absolutely incredible! We will be back!

I took my daughter here for her winter break and it was truly breathtaking. Nestled right on the river with every amenity you could ask for, it was peaceful, beautiful, and incredibly special. We made the best memories and cannot wait to return. Highly recommend

What a gem of a cabin! My husband and I stayed here for a few nights over New Year’s Eve and it was a perfect getaway. Super cozy with the wood fire stove, and tucked into a beautiful part of the neighborhood right on the river, so even though you’re close to town, it feels very secluded. The view and access to nature was amazing - we saw a bald eagle and a river otter right from the deck! The folks were super communicative all around (including updating us about an issue with the hot tub before we checked in), and asked about our arrival time so they could preheat the sauna for us! Such a kind gesture. Even though there was an issue with the hot tub before we arrived, we really didn’t miss it because the sauna and cold plunge were perfect. They had also decorated the cabin a bit for the holidays with a Christmas tree in the living room and a couple of small, cute trees in the loft bedroom. A lovely & festive touch. We loved this spot and hope to return (in warmer weather) one day!
