My spouse and I came here for a vacation to experience the Pacific Northwest. The stay was great. The fire place kept us warm during the cold weather. If we had any questions about the stay, the host would respond to it quickly. The backyard really had an amazing view of the pine trees and the Sauk river. We are glad to say that we had a great long vacation here and will be going to there other places that they host in the near future.

Yes. Cost cabin. Comfy bed. Great fire stove. They have plenty of wood but it’s wet, so bring your dry wood. Clean. Best critic, Highway 2 was closed due to flooding so they were more than responsible to slash the rate almost half way to accommodate that closed highway. And they did offer us to cancel with full refund despite their non-refundable policy. Now, what I am not fond of. The communication and policy about trash. If you book, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE ALL OF YOUR TRASH WITH YOU. Nice cozy cabins go along way up until I am told to put my trash, filled with my twin toodlers dirty diapers, in my car for 3 days before we check out or double bag it and leave outside? You may not have trash services out there. But this a no brainer. Have your cleaner take the trash and throw it away for your guests in the same place you tell your guest to throw it away. Just unacceptable for your reputation and rating. You have the money, you can figure out a better solution and I hope you do.

This is a great spot just outside of Bellingham. It's in a little planned community type area, so you definitely have neighbors close by and such, but the house is set down on the hill so it feels very private and in the trees. It was perfect for what we needed, which was a quiet retreat but close enough to Bellingham to explore the town a bit.

Set on a lush forested river bank in a private, but easy to access, cabin community in Mt Baker National Forest, this was the perfect place to ring in a cozy, peaceful New Year. Compact, but provides all you need (views/sounds of the rushing river, a toasty in-room gas burner, comfy furnishings, and a fully stocked kitchen) to disconnect from the city, connect with nature, and relax.
