A group of 3 of us came to this stay for a trip to the Cascades. This place did not disappoint! The location was near Cascades and Mount Baker, which was a plus. The backyard was amazing! The hot tub and the sound of the river was truly magical and peaceful. We couldn’t get the A/C figured out right away (simple us mistake) and the host got back to us very quickly and even after we couldn’t figure it out, he stopped by to help us and even gave us some recommendations. We will definitely be back next time we come out this way! 🙂

Decent spot for a base camp to explore the North Cascades. Inside of home was very nice: seems newly remodeled and clean. However, we were a little disappointed with the outside. The property is a lot closer to the neighbors than portrayed in the listing; two campers next door are practically outside the front bedroom window. There were also several run down sheds and random junk on the property (falling apart dog house, broken jumper cables). It also seemed like someone was tent camping near the fire pit area just behind the home; not sure if it was truly occupied, but finding a tent and several lawn chairs set up outside when arriving in the dark later in the evening was a little concerning.
