My friend and I had a nice little mid-week summer getaway with my dog. The cabin’s in a small neighborhood but is tucked back at the end of their road and feels very private. Kitchen is well stocked, hot tub and grill were great. Would definitely go back!

We had a good stay overall. The house was clean, comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub. A couple of things future guests may want to know: the property isn't completely quiet, as you can hear the nearby highway, trains, and neighbors. Also, the checkout instructions directed us to take the trash to the community center, but we found out after checkout that they no longer accept garbage. After we contacted the hosts, they allowed us to leave the trash inside the house instead. It would be helpful if the checkout instructions were updated to reflect the current process.

This is a beautiful A-Frame cabin that is close enough to the main road to be a great base camp for hiking but still tucked into the trees to still feel private and secluded. There's also a lovely walking path that leads to the river, but plenty of other little access points further along the road provide river access as well! The host were also friendly and responsive anytime I reached out. 10/10 Would stay again!

Our little piece of Heaven! This A Frame cabin is a must for anyone, a couple or a family! It sets back off the road a ways, amongst the trees. The location is perfect! It had all the comforts of home, 2 bedroom a beautiful bathroom and a full kitchen. We were there on our honeymoon and found it to be peaceful and relaxing. A memorable way to spend the start of our journey together! I am so glad that we chose to stay at The Retro!
